We celebrate the achievements of many members of our Department who have made exceptional contributions over the past year to clinical care, education and research, shaping the future of family medicine in Ontario, in Canada and around the globe.

We recognize those people who have received awards of excellence this year from our own Department and other organizations, along with those whose many contributions have been recognized through academic promotion, and those who have joined us as new faculty members. All these people are working together to make valued contributions to our Department’s strong and well-deserved national and global reputation for innovation and excellence in family and community medicine. For me, it is an honour to have joined this Department and to have the opportunity each day to work alongside so many extraordinary people.
